Marudhunayagam coming back to life

Earlier, we had informed you that Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan’s Marudhunayagam, which has been temporarily shelved could be revived anytime. The filming started in 1997, but it was shelved due to financial crisis and other problems.

The recent development is that Marudhanayagam is likely to roll out from 2015 as Ulaganayagan himself has confirmed that his friend, who happens to be a producer based in London, has agreed to fund the project irrespective of the lavish costs at stake. Kamal Haasan has told this to a Tamil magazine as an answer to his late mentor K Balachander who had quizzed about the film's progress.

Right now, Kamal Haasan has three films lined up for release in 2015 – Uttama Villain, Papanasam and Vishwaroopam 2.
